Our diverse experience, technical skill, and artistic vision puts us in a position to understand and translate the needs of the artists we work with and the event promoters, producers, and visionaries we collaborate with.

About The Artists
Collectively, LightRiders has been involved in every avenue of entertainment and event production for over 15 years. We’ve worked as musicians and performers, film/video producers/executive producers, managed live sound and studio mixing, music composition for film, and headed event production locally and nationally. We have also worked for businesses and non-profits outside of the entertainment field, been published in major publications as authors exploring the science of music (NIH), and have worked extensively in areas of community-based social justice and arts.
Los Angeles is home.
David Howe is an audiovisual artist and musician from Los Angeles. He has a BFA and MFA in Music, Technology and Art (CalArts). Originally an electric/upright bassist, turned electronic performer, producer, and dj, turned digital visual artist and curator, David is a creative jack of many trades, fresh out of "art school" with a Masters in Music Technology from California Institute of the Arts. Most of his work is inspired by that improvisational whim of the moment, and driven by an attempt to bridge that dividing line where creativity and logic intersect.
Daniel Rizik-Baer is a nonprofit professional and artist raised in LA. He has a BA in Sociology/minor in Electronic Music (UC Santa Cruz), and a Masters in Social Welfare (UC Berkeley). He began his artistic avenue as a hip hop/instrumental producer (Silencio). This led him to work with a slew of Los Angeles heavyweights, including Open Mike Eagle, Cadalack Ron, NoCanDo, Mister CR, and Choize Areef. Daniel's passion for music production was easily translated to the light art collectively created by LightRiders.
